SEKURA COOKIE POLICY

1. WHAT COOKIES ARE

A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device so it can recognise the device on later visits or as you move between pages. Cookies are either "session" cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted. This Policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage, and the cookieless analytics described in Section 4.

2. THE COOKIES WE USE

We use only the categories below. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

• Strictly necessary — signing you in, keeping your session while you use the Service, protecting against cross-site request forgery, and a bot-protection token issued by Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit a form. These cannot be turned off; the Service cannot function without them.
• Functional (not currently used) — remembering preferences such as display settings. Sekura does not set functional cookies today. If we introduce them, we will list them here and, where consent is required, offer the choice in Section 5 before setting them.
• Analytics — our analytics do not use cookies at all; see Section 4.

3. COOKIES CURRENTLY IN USE

Today the Service sets a session cookie (to keep you signed in, set by our authentication system and expiring when the session ends or is revoked) and, on form submission, a Cloudflare Turnstile bot-protection token. Your browser also stores a single flag in local storage recording that you dismissed the one-line cookie notice; it contains no identifier. That is the complete list; we will update this section if it changes.

4. COOKIELESS ANALYTICS

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage of our website, such as which pages are visited and how often. It counts page views without setting a cookie, without client-side storage, and without assigning a persistent identifier, so it cannot recognise your device across visits or link your activity elsewhere, and it is not affected by the choices in Section 5. If our analytics ever changes to use a cookie or persistent identifier, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, obtain consent first.

5. YOUR CHOICES

Because the Service currently sets only strictly necessary cookies, there is nothing to consent to, and a one-line notice on each page states this and links here. If we introduce functional cookies, then — where required by applicable law, including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland — we will ask you to choose between accepting only strictly necessary cookies, or strictly necessary and functional cookies together, before any functional cookie is set, and let you change that choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; because strictly necessary cookies are required, blocking them will likely prevent you from signing in or completing a scan.

6. OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We do not use tracking pixels, web beacons, or device fingerprinting on our website.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use. If a change is material, we will provide notice consistent with our Privacy Policy, and where a change introduces a cookie requiring your consent, we will ask for that consent.
